We are experimenting with a class system for our races.
Much like how it was in GT5P, they bracketed all of the cars off into different classes. But those classes were extremely unbalanced. I am currently in the design process for most of the classes, I only have one with an extensive amount of cars tested in time trials to make sure the cars compete equally.
Our next race is using what we call Class A Sports Cars (Supras, Skylines, Camaros, ect) and we are running it stock.
Future races though we may run stuff like Class A Sports Car Modded.
The class list gives our guys an idea of what cars to collect for our races aside from the ones they want personally. Though the ultimate goal is to get almost all of he cars put somewhere!
If your curious about how I'm doing this feel free to go to the message board.
www.gtscuderia.netYou can see under the events section and event class section. The Class A Sports Car is the only real finalized product though right now. I'm dumping a lot of money into cars to get things set up right.
I'm also trying to communicate with the smaller race teams in the community. Our team is much like yours, we have about 16 members but only about 10 of us are really active. Some of the other teams though are small and dont even have message boards. I was going to offer them a space on ours so we can all keep tabs on each other and set up events. We have players from Germany, Sweden, and Spain on our team and playing at American times is not very good for them, but playing with y'all would be great for them. You guys get more players for your races and our team gets represented in them.
